Back again.
Thanks for the first codes,. they were very helpful.
This time I'm looking for a code that will disable or remove the 'New Thread' button on a specific board. Preferably for members and not staff, but all together will work also.
My site is a text&audio battle/ hip hop community site.
Where I want to install this code is in the battle area.
I need my members to start a 'NEW POLL' instead of a 'NEW THREAD'.
I'd rather them start a 'new poll' because that is going to be the voting process for the battle area.
As you probably already know, members rarely read site rules.
So even though I have the process that I would like them to follow listed in the rules, they haven't bothered to read them.
So, I figured 'exclude the NEW THREAD button and they will have no choice but to start a NEW POLL.
Is there a code out there for this situation?
Thanks for your help.
One more question,
What is the secret to getting a proboard in the search engine base? I cant even google the exact address of my page to get it to show up in the results. Also, Google or no other search engine sites can verify my forum. They all explain there was an error after I place the meta tag in my headers and go back to verify.
Your site popped up on the 1st page of google search.
So if ya don't mind, what is the secret?
I thought of a short list of phrases that would pertain to my site and posted them in my main footer, inside of a table.
I tried to create them in the sense of 1st person,{as in not 2nd person}Ex. 'Sell MY music, instead of 'sell YOUR music'.
I then copied that complete list in the exact order that it showed up on the bottom of my main page and pasted it into the my browsers toolbar. {Google}
My site still didn't show up.
Here's the list:
Free Rap Textcee Battles
Free HipHop Beats
Free Rap Beats
Sell my music
sell my rap music
sell my hip hop music
sell my hiphop music
sell my beat
sell my beats
sell my rap beats
sell my hiphop beats

I then googled the name of my site and the only thing that popped up was the post that I left on Soundclick while promoting my site.
My site is called 'No HaterVille Hip Hop Community"
Heres the link: www.nohaterville.proboards.com
Do you have any answers or suggestions for this matter?
