I have searched but could not find a post on this subject.
Is there a code that will allow a user to add music to the background in their post or replying to another post ?
i.e. ..... when the post is read, music will automatically play in the background

I have searched but could not find a post on this subject. Is there a code that will allow a user to add music to the background in their post or replying to another post ? i.e. ..... when the post is read, music will automatically play in the background I've never heard of such a thing. How would the code recognize when a reader is reading one post out of a list of let's say fifteen? Now it might work if you could integrate a music player with a link to that post, but people would have to click on the link to activate it, it would not be automatic. The closest thing you can get is just a generic music player, and it would play on every thread in that board, unless the viewer stopped or paused it. But there are several places with far more programming staff that might be able to help you with that request: Solid Snake DesignsProboards SupportGood luck.

I know it can be done, I just don't know if it can be done on pro boards.
I was on a site a month or so ago (not pro board site), when I clicked on a post to read it, music started playing and it played with that post only.
I asked the owner of the site how it was done but he was tight lipped, didn't want everyone plastering music on every post.

Yes like I said, you clicked on the post to read it, that would be the only way I would know of it being done. Try one of those links and see if someone from one of those boards can make the code for you. Other than that you can look at the source code of the message board you saw it on. Then if there's a copyright you can tell if the code belongs to the message board owner, or if someone else made it for him. Still, you'll need permission to use the code. Proboards can't do everything other boards can, and more than that, codes haven't been created to do things that other boards can.
