Make sure you go into admin ---> News Fader and make sure the box for it being enabled is clicked. Then, go into admin ---> Skins/Forum Colors and make sure that all the boxes have a color in them. Also make sure that the colors are in number form, and you don't have the words "black" or "white." Finally, make sure the News Fader text color isn't the same color as the background.

If that doesn't work, make sure there are no spaces after the hex codes and that you don't have # in front of them.
