Angelfire Step by Step Guide
The following is a tutorial to teach you how to use Angelfire to host various files for you on the internet.
Go to http://www.angelfire.lycos.com/
At the top, you will see two white buttons. Click Sign Up if you don’t already have an account.
You should now the sign-up page, offering various plans. We’re looking for the free plan, so scroll to the bottom, and on the left hand side, you should see in plain text: Try Angelfire for FREE! Just starting out and don't mind ads on your page? Our free plan lets you discover the fun of site-building. Go ahead and experiment. You can always upgrade at any time.
Click Sign Up.
Now fill out all of the required information. After you’ve done that, obtain your username and password and go to http://www.angelfire.lycos.com/ and click the white Log In button at the very top.
Angelfire will delete your account if you don’t set up an index page, so let’s do that before we start uploading things. After you’ve logged in, you’ll see a page with numerous options for your site. This is called the Web Shell. You should see a file called index.html within the box on this page. Click index.html and click edit at the top. The questions are pretty self explanatory, and it doesn’t really matter what the main page looks like as long as there’s information there. Just pick a background color, add some text, etc. After you’re done click save. You should be brought back to the Web Shell.
Now it’s time to upload some files. Under the menu that has index.html, you should see it say Create: Click New Subdirectory and place the name of it in the space below. Click create. This creates a folder to place your file in.
You should be brought back into the Web Shell page and the new folder you created should be listed in that box. Now it’s time to upload something. Click on the new folder you created. Click open at the top. You should now be brought to a page similar to the other, except it has no files in the box. Under the box you should see something called File Upload. Click Browse. Find the file you want to upload, and click upload.
You should now be at the same page, but the new file you uploaded should be in that box. Click on that file and click view at the top. You should now be seeing the file you uploaded. Copy and paste the URL in your address bar, and that’s it. You’ve just hosted a file. This will seem easier the more you get familiar with angel fire. Happy uploading!

Just found your link to here, Thanks.
I found AngelFire a bit of mess, and gave up.
I'll go back and follow your instructions now!

Make sure that you can accept all cookies... Just go into Tools>Internet Options>Security Tab>Then just adjust the cookies security level so that your computer accepts all of them... Or it might have been a temporary problem with Angelfire... Or something else...

Yeah, everyone has been having problems with that... Myself included... It's probably an Angelfire problem, so you might want to e-mail thier support and ask them what's going on... I just took all of my images to Photobucket because I was tired of dealing with Angelfire, and this was the straw that broke the camel's back...

that happened to me to (only a few days after i uploaded them to angel fire too)
i think they are stopping hot linking from their sites coz it means they don't make money from the adverts which they normally would if you created a site there.
photobucket is good and i think its alot simpler to use than angel fire (ina good way)

I agree fully with that... It's a shame about Angelfire... I guess they were tired of not getting the money from the ads as you said... And it's kind of expensive to foot the bill for bandwidth these days... Especially since so many people used Angelfire for hotlinking...
